Talk About Money CIC

Talk About Money CIC is a non-profit financial education organisation based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, supporting people across the UK and beyond. Our vision is a world where everyone is empowered to live a life that aligns with their values, making choices based on their priorities rather than financial constraints. We don't have shareholders and we don't pay dividends. Instead, we use all our income to fund free and affordable money guidance programmes, including workshops for individuals and organisations, subsidised financial coaching sessions, free and low-cost personal finance resources and much more.

May Fairweather, CEO

May is a financial coach and the founder of Talk About Money CIC. She previously worked as a debt adviser for Money Advice Plus's Financial Support Line, and now specialises in working with neurodivergent people to improve their financial situation.

Amelia Wicks, Director

Amelia is a corporate tax accountant in the energy sector with an interest in personal finance. She believes non-judgemental, neuroaffirming money advice should be available to all and is pleased to be able to contribute to this through her role as a director of Talk About Money CIC. In her ever-decreasing spare time she sews clothes and plays the violin.

James Benwell, Director

James Benwell is a professional in the fincap and energy advice sector who feels passionately about the empowerment and stability that financial education gives to people's lives. James also enjoys playing and singing in his band The Severn Wonderers.

Talk About Money CIC is a not-for-profit social enterprise, meaning that all income is used for the benefit of the community. You can donate to help our work.
